Shoukat Allahabadi, born Muhammad Zubair Farooqi in December 1913 in Kura, Allahabad, British India, was a prominent Urdu poet from Pakistan. He pursued education in Arabic and Persian, completing further studies at Punjab University and obtaining an MA in Urdu from the University of Karachi in 1962. He retired from government service on January 1, 1981. Known for his poetic works, he received guidance from notable literary figures and published several books, including notable collections of poetry and literary critique. He passed away on June 14, 2001, in Karachi, Pakistan.
