Shreyas Iyer is an Indian international cricketer, born on December 6, 1994, in Mumbai. He plays as a right-handed batsman and has represented India in all formats. Iyer made history by scoring a century on his debut Test match against New Zealand in November 2021, becoming the first Indian to achieve this feat. He also captains the Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League and has played for Mumbai in domestic cricket. Iyer was part of the Indian Under-19 team in the 2014 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup and was selected for the 2023 Cricket World Cup.
