Shula Eta Marks, born on October 14, 1938, in Cape Town, is a British historian and academic known for her work in history and public health. She is an honorary professor at the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London. Marks has authored at least seven books and a study with the World Health Organization on health and apartheid issues. Her current public health work focuses on combating the spread of HIV/AIDS in South Africa.
