Shunpei Tsukahara was a Japanese politician born on March 12, 1947, in Mito, Ibaraki Prefecture. He served as a member of the House of Representatives for the Liberal Democratic Party. Tsukahara was awarded the rank of Shōsanmi (正三位) and was a recipient of the First Class Order of Merit (勲一等). He was the son of former House of Representatives member Toshio Tsukahara. His political career was notable in post-war Japan.
