Shyama Prasad Mandal is a prominent Indian orthopedic surgeon and co-chairperson at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi. He holds degrees from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences and received an MCh in orthopedics from Liverpool University. He has served as president of the Indian Orthopaedic Association and has been actively involved in medical conferences. Recognized for his contributions, he received the Padma Shri in 2011. He also examined cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar for a back injury in 1999 and is honored with the S. P. Mandal Gold Medal by the Indian Orthopedic Association.
