Siddhicharan Shrestha (1968-2049 BS) was a prominent Nepalese poet and writer known for his contributions to Nepali literature. He was honored with the title 'Yugakavi' by the Nepalese government. Born in the Okhaldhunga district of Eastern Nepal, he was the only son of Vishnu Charan Shrestha and Nirakumari. Siddhicharan is also recognized for being the author of Nepal's first novel 'Sumatika.' His literary work has left a significant impact on Nepali poetry and prose.
