Arodin is credited as a composer of the jazz standard 'Lazy River,' although he never recorded it himself. He played on Mississippi riverboats and later in New York City with prominent jazz bands, returning south to work with notable musicians like Wingy Manone and Sharkey Bonano. He passed away on February 6, 1948.
