Sigge Ernst, born Siegfried Ernst Unterseher on February 21, 1940, in Kitzingen, Germany, was a German-Swedish musician. He began working as a mechanic at a Volkswagen workshop at age 14. After moving to Sweden in 1965, he pursued music alongside his work. He played in several bands, gaining fame with Rockfolket in the 1970s. After an eight-year tenure with the band, he transitioned to a revue artist in Gothenburg. He stopped performing in the 1980s and settled in Skåne, continuing to work as a mechanic until his death on September 23, 2010.
