Ir. H. Sigit Widyonindito, M.T. is a former Mayor of Magelang who served from 2010 to 2015. He previously held the position of head of the public works department in Magelang and led the Magelang Contractors Association. Widyonindito won the 2010 local election with a 43.64% vote share, defeating his opponents. Under his leadership, Magelang achieved second place in the 2010 Evaluation of Regional Government Implementation (EPPD). He ran again in 2015 but was ultimately succeeded by Muchamad Nur Aziz.
