Carl Sigvard Nordgård was a Swedish civil engineer born on February 23, 1916, in Stockholm and died on December 18, 1991, in Nacka, Stockholm County. He graduated from the Royal Institute of Technology in 1941 and worked in various engineering roles, including as a building inspector and in private consultancy. He received an award for his work on economical small houses in 1953. Nordgård also authored numerous articles on engineering consulting. He is buried at Bromma Cemetery.
