Simeon Atanasov Shterev is a Bulgarian wrestler competing in freestyle wrestling at 62 kg, who won a bronze medal at the Seoul 1988 Olympics. He is currently a coach and was named the Coach of the Year by the 'Levski' club in 2008. He trained world champion Stanka Zlateva, who was recognized as the best athlete of Levski the same year, as well as Radislav Velikov. Shterev is also a world champion from the 1981 competition in Skopje and a three-time European champion.
