Simon Richard James Fell, born on February 9, 1981, is a former British Conservative Party politician who served as the MP for Barrow and Furness from 2019 to 2024. A graduate of the University of Warwick, he initially worked in telecommunications before transitioning into politics. He made unsuccessful attempts to win his parliamentary seat in 2015 and 2017 before winning in 2019, becoming the first Conservative MP for the area since 1987. He supported Brexit and has held various positions, including as the UK's first Rural Connectivity Champion before losing his seat in the 2024 general election.
