She was married to Gottfried Adam Vollrat von Watzdorf from 1938 until their divorce in 1951, with whom she had two sons. Later that year, she married Prince Aschwin zur Lippe-Biesterfeld in London. The couple participated in many royal events and were close to their relative, Queen Beatrix. Arnoux passed away on November 21, 2001, in The Hague, and was buried alongside her second husband.
