Sir Donald Frederick Norris Harrison (1925-2003) was a prominent British surgeon specializing in ear, nose, and throat surgery. After serving in the Royal Air Force, he became a consultant surgeon and later a professor at the Institute of Laryngology and Otology. Noted for his public campaigns against chewing tobacco, he was also elected President of the Royal Society of Medicine. His significant contributions included the publication of his work on mammalian larynges. He was knighted for his services in surgery and retired in 1990.
