Sirkka Stormbom, born Timoska on August 1, 1940, is a long-time television announcer for Yle TV1 in Finland. She began her career as an actress in the lead role of Erkko Kivikoski's comedy film "Käyntikorttini..." (1964). Stormbom was discovered for her TV announcing work after participating in a contest on Niilo Tarvajärvi's program, Palapeli. She worked for over 40 years as an announcer until her retirement in 2005. Additionally, she graduated as a marketer in 1964 and is the sister of bandy player Tauno Timoska.
