Skeeter Brandon was an American blind blues keyboardist, singer, and songwriter born on April 22, 1948. He played in various bands across the U.S. from 1966 until 1991, later joining Highway 61, recording four albums until the band's breakup in 2001. In 1994, he formed the Prime Rib Blues Band. His notable songs include 'Strollie Bun', 'That's What Lovin You Has Done To Me', 'Soap Opera Blues', and 'The Last Goodby'. His music reflected the African-American songster tradition until his passing on March 20, 2008.
