She completed her literary studies at the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Skopje and worked as a professor of Macedonian language and literature. Maneva wrote children's books, and her works have been translated into several languages, including Serbian, Turkish, Albanian, Russian, Bulgarian, Polish, Armenian, and Georgian. She passed away in the capital Skopje on January 8, 2010.
