Smilja Koneska (born January 8, 1931, in Prilep) is a notable Macedonian physicist and university professor at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics in Skopje. She graduated in 1954 and obtained her master's in nuclear physics in Zagreb, later earning her PhD in 1979 with a study on antimony and zinc alloys. Koneska pioneered the nuclear physics course at her faculty and authored a textbook on the subject. She has published scientific work in Macedonia and abroad, focusing primarily on alloy properties. Additionally, she served as dean of the Faculty of Physics.
