Snorre Ness is a former Norwegian postmaster and politician from the Labour Party (Ap). He was active in politics starting in 1983 and served as mayor of Namsos municipality from 1992 to 2003. Ness was also a member of Nord-Trøndelag County Council from 1999 to 2003 and a deputy member of the Norwegian Parliament from Nord-Trøndelag from 1993 to 1997. He worked in Postverket since 1964, advancing to postmaster, and has engaged in union work both locally and regionally.
