Soekarja Somadikarta (born April 21, 1930) is an Indonesian ornithologist and a professor emeritus at the University of Indonesia. He is regarded as the father of Indonesian ornithology and was a pioneer in systematic bird research in Indonesia. A bird, Zosterops somadikartai, named after him, was discovered in the Togian Islands. He received the Habbie Award in 2011.
