Sophie Bramly is a French photographer, television producer, director, digital pioneer, and author born in 1959. She gained prominence for her hip-hop photography in New York during the early 1980s and for creating and hosting the influential hip-hop television show Yo! MTV Raps for MTV Europe in the late 1980s and early 1990s. In 2008, she launched a website and online community focused on female pleasure in Paris. Bramly's diverse career has been characterized as 'protean' by Le Figaro, and she was honored as a Chevalier de l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres in 2017.
