Sōshitsu Sen (Sen Sōshitsu) is the 16th headmaster of the Urasenke school of tea, known as Genmoku Sōshitsu since June 7, 1956. He is also known by his honorific title, Zabōsai, and his birth name is Masayuki. During his early years in the tea community, he was referred to as Sōun. The title 'Sōshitsu' has been passed down through generations of the Urasenke headmasters.
