Srinath Sooriyabandara is a professional rugby union player from Sri Lanka, active in Kandy SC and a key member of the National Sevens Team since 2010. He played for Sri Lanka in the 15-man code from 2009 to 2014 and captained the Sevens Team in the 2018 Asia Rugby Sevens Series. Primarily a Scrum half, he can also play as a Fly-Half or Full-back. Notably, he was part of the Sri Lankan team that won the Shield Championship at the 2014 Commonwealth Games and is the only Sri Lankan to compete in the Asian Games for three consecutive years.
