Stephen Thomas 'Staff' Jones, born on January 4, 1959, is a former Welsh rugby union international who played as a loosehead prop. Originating from Ynysybwl, he started at Ynysybwl RFC and had notable spells at Pontypridd and primarily at Pontypool RFC, where he made 408 appearances during the 1980s. A prominent member of the Welsh team, Jones scored on his debut in 1983 and was part of the 1988 Triple Crown-winning squad. He was also known for his robust scrummaging skills. He toured with the British Lions in 1983.
