Stan Carew was a Canadian radio broadcaster, musician, and actor, known for hosting CBC Radio's Prime Time and The Entertainers in the 1980s. Starting his radio career in 1968 in Halifax, he worked at several stations including CBL in Toronto. He hosted Weekend Mornings for CBC's regional audience until his death in 2015. Carew also released solo albums and was a member of the band The Magpies. His acting career featured roles in television films and series such as Trudeau and Trailer Park Boys. He passed away in 2015 after facing health issues.
