Stan Lokhin, also known as Stan Lok Hin, was a Surinamese trumpeter, composer, conductor, producer, and arranger, as well as the leader of The Stan Lokhin Band. Born on March 11, 1947, he was referred to as the Godfather of Surinamese music. He had a significant influence in the Surinamese music scene until his passing on December 1, 2010.
