Sir Stanley Graham Yapp (30 June 1933 – 1 April 2012) was a prominent Labour politician in Birmingham, England. He served as the first leader of the West Midlands County Council and was actively involved in local politics for almost three decades. Yapp began his career as a tool maker for GEC and entered politics through the Amalgamated Engineering Union. He held multiple council positions, including serving as a director at Birmingham Airport and was knighted in 1975.
