Stane Runko was a Slovenian partisan and intelligence officer born in 1917 and died in 1988. He joined the National Liberation Movement in 1941 and quickly became a member of VOS. After the war, he worked with Ozna, Udba, and the Secretariat for Internal Affairs in Slovenia. His contributions to the resistance against occupation during WWII are commemorated with a street named after him, Runkova ulica.
