Stanisław Głazek was a Polish zoologist born on February 10, 1908, in Częstochowa. He completed his education at the Jan Śniadecki Mathematical-Natural Sciences Gymnasium in Kielce, graduating in 1929. He served in the military at the Infantry Cadet School in Nisko between 1929 and 1931. Following his service, Głazek studied zoology at Jagiellonian University, where he was active in the Naturalist Circle, organizing field trips to the Świętokrzyskie Mountains for collecting specimens in botany, zoology, and geology. He passed away on November 17, 1941, in Kielce.
