Stanisław Górski (1912-2005) was a Polish folk poet, social activist, and farmer known for his deep connection to rural life and nature. Born into a peasant family, he dedicated his life to farming and became involved in local governance in Pilawa, Garwolin County. Regarded as a 'peasant poet', his poetry reflects themes of village life and the natural environment. His lifelong collection of poems was gathered and prepared for publication by Genowefa Jałocha-Młyńska, who has lived in England since 1959.
