Stanisław Misakowski (1917-1996) was a Polish poet, prose writer, dramatist, and cultural activist of Ukrainian origin. After completing his education at the Agricultural Higher School in Stavropol, he worked in post-war Poland, contributing significantly to cultural initiatives and the reconstruction of historical sites. He was a member of various literary associations, and his literary works were recognized with numerous awards. Misakowski's poetry was translated into several languages, and he left behind a legacy of poems, prose, and drama, including his memoirs published in 2017. He passed away in Żyrardów and is honored posthumously.
