Stanisława Drzewiecka, born on May 7, 1920, in Żółkiew, was a Polish officer and author known for her wartime memoirs. She graduated from the Officer Cadet School in 1943 and served in various capacities throughout World War II, including as deputy commander of a company and an instructor. She was wounded in battle and retired with the rank of captain in 1945. Drzewiecka co-authored a film script and was married to Brigadier General Jan Drzewiecki. She passed away on September 30, 2000, and is buried at the Powązki Military Cemetery.
