Stanisława Starostka was a Polish accountant and resistance fighter born in Tarnów on May 1, 1917. She became known as a so-called functional prisoner in the concentration camps Auschwitz-Birkenau and Bergen-Belsen, ultimately becoming a war criminal. Her experiences during the war led her to a tragic fate, and she died in the spring of 1946.
