Major General Stanley Gorenc is a retired United States Air Force officer who served as the Air Force Chief of Safety and Commander of the Air Force Safety Center. He was responsible for the development and execution of aviation, ground, weapons, and nuclear safety programs to maintain combat readiness. Gorenc conducted research to increase safety awareness, oversaw mishap investigations, and implemented corrective actions. He also directed Air Force safety and operational risk management education courses.
