Stanley Walden is an American composer born on December 2, 1932, in New York City. He studied modern dance, clarinet, and composition and worked as an accompanist for renowned choreographers. He performed with prestigious orchestras and was a founding member of various musical ensembles. Collaborating with George Tabori, he produced numerous theater works. Walden also composed original stage works, including operas and musicals. He established a musical theater program at the Berlin University of the Arts and published a significant book on musical training. He now resides in Palm Springs.
