Ollisteen 'Steen' Miles was an American politician from Georgia, affiliated with the Democratic Party. Born on August 20, 1946, she served in the Georgia State Senate starting in 2005, participating in several committees including Banking and Financial Institutions and Public Safety. A former television newscaster, she ran for positions including DeKalb County CEO and Lieutenant Governor of Georgia, but was unsuccessful. Miles also campaigned for a U.S. Senate seat in 2014. She passed away on March 29, 2017.
