Stefano Condello (1930-1977) was an Italian carabiniere who died fighting against the 'ndrangheta, a powerful mafia organization in Calabria. He served in the Mobile Unit of the Carabinieri Command in Taurianova. For his bravery, he was awarded the Gold Medal for Military Valor posthumously. A street in his hometown of Palmi is named after him, and in 1995, a training course for carabiniere recruits was also dedicated to him, honoring his commitment to combat organized crime.
