Stefano Gobbi was an Italian Roman Catholic priest born on March 22, 1930, in the Province of Como, Italy. He was ordained a priest in 1964 and earned a doctorate in Sacred Theology. Gobbi founded the Marian Movement of Priests (MMP) after receiving revelations related to faith in the Virgin Mary in 1972 at the Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima. Although the Roman Catholic Church does not officially recognize his revelations, many priests and religious have expressed that his teachings align with Church doctrine.
