Stefi Baum, born on December 11, 1958, in Chicago, Illinois, is an American astronomer recognized for her contributions to the field. She was honored with the Annie J. Cannon Award by the American Astronomical Society in 1993. Baum played a key role in the development of the Hubble Space Telescope and has been the director of the Chester F. Carlson Center at the Rochester Institute of Technology since 2004.
