Sten-Andreas Hankewitz is an Estonian journalist born in Tallinn on April 16, 1979. He graduated from Tallinna 20. Keskkool in 1996. He started his career in 1998 as a reporter for the economic newspaper Äripäev and later worked for Õhtuleht and Mega. Hankewitz served as the editor of Eesti Päevaleht's online edition, and held communication roles at If Eesti Kindlustus and Kalev Meedia. He has also worked with Roubini Global Economics and Alpari UK. Since 2013, he has been the editor of the online magazine Estonian World.
