Sten Kristian Sterning (1915–1996) was a Swedish municipal politician affiliated with the right-wing party. He worked as an engineer, initially at Bofors AB and later at Höganäs-Billesholms AB. Sterning was active in politics from 1948, serving as chairman of Malmö's Right Association and as a council member from 1955 to 1985. He held various positions, including municipal councilor for industry and business, and authored 'Malmöhögern 50 år' in 1953. He was significant in local politics during a period of transition in Malmö's governance.
