Stephen Liu Difen (1912-1992) was a Catholic underground bishop of Anguo in Hebei, China. He was born into a Catholic family and pursued priesthood, becoming ordained in 1939. Throughout his life, he faced significant persecution for his faith, notably being arrested for refusing to join the Three-Self Patriotic Movement in 1951. He endured harsh treatment during the Cultural Revolution and was secretly arrested by authorities in 1990, leading to his death in custody in 1992, making him one of several bishops to die in prison in a short period.
