Stephen Updegraff, M.D., FACS, is an American refractive surgeon born on January 31, 1962, in St. Petersburg, Florida. He is notable for his contributions to LASIK surgery. Updegraff is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He is a founding member of the American College of Ophthalmic Surgeons and is involved in various professional organizations, including the International Society of Refractive Surgery and the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He currently directs Updegraff Vision in St. Petersburg.
