Steve Davis is a former American politician born on September 22, 1949, in Alton, Illinois. He served as a Democratic member of the Illinois House of Representatives from 1995 until his resignation in December 2004 due to ill health. Davis previously served in the United States Army Reserves and pursued an education in engineering at Lewis and Clark Community College and Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. He lived in Bethalto, Illinois, with his wife and family.
