Steve Kelley, born on January 8, 1953, is a former Minnesota state Senator and two-time gubernatorial candidate. He served in the Minnesota Senate from 1997 to 2007 and in the Minnesota House from 1993 to 1997. Kelley was a proponent of the Minnesota Twins stadium deal and has taken on leadership roles at the University of Minnesota. He holds a B.A. from Williams College and a J.D. from Columbia Law School, also serving on the Blandin Foundation Broadband Strategy Board. Kelley is married with two adult children.
