Steve Nisbett was a skilled drummer known for his work with the reggae band Steel Pulse from 1977 to 2001. Born on 15 March 1948 in Nevis, he moved to Birmingham, England, at the age of nine. Nisbett, the eldest of seven siblings, played drums in several soul bands before joining Steel Pulse and became the group's main drummer. He retired in 2001 due to health issues but maintained a passion for music through his record company, Grizzly Records. He passed away on 18 January 2018 at the age of 69.
