He was a founding member of the band Cold Chisel, notable for their powerful songs like 'When the War Is Over', 'Flame Trees', and 'Forever Now'. He also played with Little River Band during the 1980s and released two solo albums in the 2000s. Prestwich passed away on January 16, 2011, due to complications following brain surgery.
