Stien Terpstra-Strampel, born on May 11, 1957, in Reduzum, is a Dutch teacher and artist based in Callantsoog. After graduating from the Ryks Pedagogyske Akademy in Leeuwarden, she initially worked in De Gordyk before moving to Callantsoog. Stien has studied under artists such as Lydia Fisher and Ton Dorbeck, and her work evolved from pencil and pastel to watercolors and three-dimensional art, inspired greatly by nature. Since 2007, she has been conducting workshops for elementary school students.
