Stig Eugen Hallgren (1925-2014) was a Swedish cinematographer known for his work in film. After completing his education, he trained for six years at a film laboratory before joining Artfilm in Stockholm in 1947. He worked internationally in countries like Brazil, Argentina, and Finland. Hallgren gained notable recognition for being the only survivor of a tragic accident during a snowmobile trip in Antarctica, which resulted in the drowning of three colleagues in 1951. He was buried at Skogskyrkogården in Stockholm.
