Stina Sörman, born Lencke on January 13, 1910, in Stockholm, was a Swedish painter, ceramist, and designer. She moved to New York with her mother after World War I and received three years of education in industrial art. She studied at the School of Applied Design for Women and painting under Winold Reiss. After returning to Stockholm in 1935, she married and had three children, including artists and authors. A centennial exhibition of her work was held in 2010.
